As u lot now know i have the octy 2 sport. the interior is not sporty at all. i have come accross some mk2 seat leon interior which is red and black and will go great with my car, as seat is VAG and skoda is VAG, will they fit in my car can anybody answer that?

sorry mate but one car is a Skoda Octavia, the other is a Seat Leon..........not even close :rofl Don't mistake the fact that the indicator stalk and aircon controls are the same. You wouldn't try and swap the dahboard would you?

Why not just get a leather retrim from Seat Doctor?

You will never get another vehicles interior to fit, let alone make it look anything other than a half arsed attempt IMHO

I would have gone with yes personally , assuming the floorpans are the same , dont see why not as the mounting points will be okay , the rears may be more of a problem tho , just go to a show room and look at how the mountings are orientated .

its a complete guess tho so check , i managed to fit mk4 seats in my vr6 but obviously had to fabricate brackets but it worked brilliantly and looked factory

Personally I would be keeping an eye out for a vRS interior

They do come up from time to time on Ebay

I know Browny_37 got one, and I have seen them myself.

They go for around £400 for the complete interior.

Alternatively how about some recaro seats for the front and a retrim of the rear bench to match them.

I also looked into that when I was the owner of your car, and I had quotes of around £1200 for 2 recaros and a rear bench retrim fully fitted.

obviously i would not be fitting door cards, its silly to even think that, i was thinking of seats, i think its a good chance they will fit, and no i would not try to swap a dash, whos talking about dash swap? lol, anyways....

the guy measured the bech for me which was 50" length, hes getting back to me on width, ill look and check conections and stuff, in a show room

i can pick up the mk1 vrs interior but they dont fit i have been told?

also going back to the comment in seats and stuff not fittin. alot of vag cars have same fixtures and if you done some research you would be surprised to find what would fit were.

You are correct - LOTS of stuff is interchangable however my point is so you change the seats - they are trimmed differently to the doors so you've got to do something about them otherwise it looks cack. Why not just do as somebody else said and go for a complete VRS interior?

At the end of the day you've got a really nice car - and I mean REALLY nice - I'd have given my left testicle for a red one!! It would be a shame to end up with anything less than an improvement - after all thats the point of the whole excercise however it is very easy to actually reduce the value of your vehicle by doing things like this unless you do it really well. Fitting a VRS interior would actually add valiue to the car and you are totally confident that it will fit!

Oh and the dash - I was taking the p**s

Front seats will fit and the rears might as people have moved A3 interiors into the Octy and the Golf.

Worth measuring things up and the rest.

You would need the interior from something on a Golf MK V platform to fir a MK II Octy, but as above it's not a certainty.

Personally I'd check the condition a bit first but the good thing with leather is it ages quite well. As long as there are no rips then you can give it a good clean, feed it and off you go.

Trust me this will do the job better than any Seat / Skoda / Golf combination interior

Nice but the first one include the doorcards so I'd go for that

ill go for the 1st one but he turned his fone off now so i cant make a deposit :(

i want them but have no luck so some1 else will prob get them, ill hold out for vrs seats

just put deposit on seats, im collecting tmoro, dont have a clue how ill wire up the drivers seat, i wouldnt of thought i have the plugs and loom built in or do i?

A Sport is Ambiente spec so probably not... Elegance, maybe?! :confused:

im useless mate, i have fitted the seats the leather door cards are cracked where he ripped them off without care. i fitted rear and front passenger, im currently still using the cloth front seat :(.I dont have the loom or anything to adjust the electric seat with, i got them for £400 in the end. im keeping my sport door cards and going to try and swap the leather part with the cloth part, i need some serious help here ppl
