VCDS shows

18149 - Clutch Pressure Adaptation: Limit Reached

P1741 - 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded - Intermittent

I take it this is an auto transmission?

The code indicates some form of problem with the electro-hydraulic system. Probably the best course of action is to take it to an auto-transmission specialist.

That sounds like DSG.

If its DSG and you have VCDS then you might want to do reset and readaption - check this out:

P1741 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

18181 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs

P1773 - 35-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent
