Finally got my car back today - a month after the turbo let go on the Nurburgring :thumbdwn:

But hey ive got a nice shiney PD150 one on there instead :thumbup:

Heres a few pics of the old turbo, as you can see its totally....well....shagged.

Ha and i thought mine was bad! With huge bearing play and half of 2 impellors gone! good effort.

do you notice a difference in how/where the car pulls with the different turbo? particularly at lower revs?

Ive only covered 60 miles in it so far.

Seeing as the intercooler and all the pipework have just been steam cleaned it was the perfect opportunity for the elephant hose mod to keep things nice and clean.

So with the new turbo and this mod, it really pulls now. It is quite different than before, the car just feels like it wants to get up and go. It pulls much harder too.

So far so good! Only time will tell I suppose, must get the remap tweaked now though - although it does run fine!
