there seems to be alot of conflicting ideas on when the timing belt on the octavia vrs tdi should be changed. does anyone know the definite it mileage when it should be done? i have 57k miles up on mine at the moment.

80k or 4years is correct but take some advise and have a full kit fitted and a water pump, if you are not planning on going to the dealers make sure you use a good quality kit, or it might come and bite you in the but as well as in the pocket

Just had my 120tkm (approx 75tmls) today and they didnt have to change the cambelt yet. All cars from MY07 on are on a 150tkm intervall (approx 93tmls).
