strut brace?

Featured Replies

hi all, will my fab vrs engine cover still fit with the Ibiza MOMO Strut Brace - 6L0 071 710:confused: thanks

i think they do. 90% sure. the brace runs right up close to the upper seal so should not fould on the cover.

may be wrong though, interesting as i've just bought one.

Iv just fitted mine today and it misses the engine cover but seems very close to the airbox! Cant complain though got it on ebay for a bargain £15 with buy it now.

In a word yes!!

I've heard that fitting the front strut makes it a very harsh ride when going over pot holes etc... I think Leon (member name L-Y-K) removed his because of this. Can anyone who is currently running with one of these confirm this???

P.S. As the original question has been answered I am officially hijacking this thread instead of starting another one.

strut brace fitted to a octy mk1

has defo improved the handling at higher speed

depends what other mods have been done to the suspension as mines lowered bout 40mm and has uprated roll bars i didnt knowtice any change but then again i can feel every little bump on the road

id say fit it and adjust its worth it for the handling

nik

The car defo feels more "rigid" turning into roundabouts & junctions, quite pleased with it so far but havnt been over any potholes yet...
