Anyone removed theirs yet - and if so, what is the fitting? It won't fit in the garage with the standard one, so I was thinking of fitting a stubby version - the S2000 or Sharan ones look hopeful. Does the Yeti aerial have the standard 5mm male thread?

Had to go into the dealers today so the answer to my own question is yes, it's the standard VAG 5mm.

Thanks, ended up getting one of these Honda S2000 Aerial Antenna Mast Antenne on eBay (end time 05-Nov-09 15:43:27 GMT)

Will find out on Friday if it fits both the car and the garage!

And the result is - yes it does! About 1cm to spare as the garage door closes, but - as they say - a miss is as good as a mile. And the radio reception seems to be OK. There is just a slight mismatch in diameter between the bottom of the aerial and the base, but you can't have everything!
