Was at Morrisons tonight putting diesel in the Fabia, normally run it solely on Shell Diesel Extra but i needed it or i was gonna run out

Anyways, they had a Bio Diesel pump aswell as the normal Diesel pump. My question is can the PD engine be ran on Bio Diesel?

Yes it will and it will run well. However it's not officially supposed to.

You can run Bio fine in a PD, it will save you money, perform better, and has several other +ve's. However you need to be aware of the several issues surrounding it's use so you can make an informed choice.

To make things easier when searching, just search on my name and Bio Diesel. You will quickly find quite a few posts going throuhg the whole thing.

Top right hand corner. Button is labled "Search". Instructions on what to search for are a few posts up (Actually in the post you quoted, Nice one ). BTW, no-one mentions common rail.
