My 2001 1.9 D has started playing up, at first it was just a problem starting when hot, it seems like no fuel getting to the pump (turning over but not starting, I changed the temp sensor ages ago to stop the "warm start" problem, now its starting to cut out when driving then refusing to start again. A freind suggested it might be the fuel pump starter solenoid or hot/cold solenoid. Any ideas anyone?

i think you were on the right line with the temperature sender, try unplugging it to see if cures it... it's not unknown for even new sensors to fail
