Stunning looking track. Will it be any good to race on though? Thinking of valencia and other new tracks promising lots of overtaking and delivering none.

Looked good during practice this afternoon, they've done the business with the lighting as well, seamless all the way round the track when it got dark.

I am still unsure about that pit lane exit tunnel, a recipe for disaster perhaps?

Bit of a non event now JB has won though isn't it ?

There is still the constructors fight between McLaren and Ferrari for third place.

Maybe some of the drivers will push to the absolute limit as there is now nothing to lose with engine/gearbox penalties.

And every second of racing yields valuable telemetry for the race engineers regardless of the outcome.

Also race seats to fight for.

That pit exit is a recipe for something nasty.

Thanks for those Steve. I couldn't see them at work for whatever reason.

It looks a nice course but as others have said these recent courses designed for overtaking have been a bit of a non-event where old stagers like Brasil still give a more visually spectacular race.

I do hope its a good one and will be watching on Sunday.

Ok, I'll conceed that the track turned out "better than expected".

Indeed Ken, I came away with much the same thoughts - it made for an enjoyable viewing spectacle

Some good action towards the end, particularly the Button/Webber battle; a shame about Lewis' early retirement though....
