Hey all,

after a few weeks of uncertainty over when I was actually going to get it, I popped in to my local dealer to find it sitting outside. The Reg has been changed tho, as it's had the same reg as another motor being used as a demo car.

Love the colour, and the styling at the front is much more aggresive than the previous Octy 2. The interior is well plush, and loads of hidding places of sorts of stuff!

The Columbus system is great to use and looks beautiful, I'm so glad I specced it after all!

I've covered about 110 miles today, and the last 30 or so were a trial on some quick twisty roads. I've nevr driven a car with such brilliant handling and high speed corner control! I'm totally sold on the VRs badge guys, so expect to see a bit of me and my car on here from now on!!!!

It looks great ordered pretty much the same as yours a couple of days ago wasnt sure if i wanted the blue or anthracite but seeing your piccys i know i made the right choice! cant wait for mine. enjoy it mate.........just dont tell me how much i have a ten week wait for mine!

Yeah, you might get lucky if you chase it up like I did. They quoted me the end of November as a realistic delivery, and after chasing a couple of times earlier this month, they built it early, and all in it was 7 weeks from order. You should get yours before Christmas mate!!!!

Any chance of taking a couple of pics for me? I'm fitting the new badges to the boot of my 09/59 vrs and need seperate spacing pictures of the "Octavia" and "VRS" and if possible a combined one of both. Big ask I know but its a good excuse to take more pictures of your new baby!!!

I got it from the Kings Heath Skoda dealer in Brum. I've heard some pretty amazing, but also some shocking reports from this place. Sales sound pretty good, but the after sales care is meant to be ****e. All I can say is if you wanna buy a new car get in touch with Russel Hill at this one, but you might wanna go elsewhere for servicing. Not been back yet so I can't comment!!!

my only bug bear with the vRS is how high it sits.

Wonder if the new style bumper would fit the pre facelift models.
