I learned in the meantime that this is not new with OII. Only for the Facelift.

Hi Digidoctor

Must be a similar special version for the greece market as has been already discussed a few years ago. Now with the newer engine.

Did you notice it has more torque than the 2.0 TSI?

Grts from Leverkusen.

The GT 200 is a modification made by the Greek dealership.It utilises a parallel ECU which tricks the original on-board ECU.As you all can imagine,the motor doesn't run smoothly and most people avoid buying this particular edition of the Octy II.:thumbdwn::thumbdwn::thumbdwn:

I dont think that Skoda Greece can do that without the OK of Skoda HQ.

It says, that the engine upgrade is done by VIAMAR S.A., which looks like an official dealer (http://www.viamar.gr).

Οh yes they can.They already have.Skoda is aware of this but don't seem to care.

They even have a homemade edition of the Οctavia I 20vt which they call GT193.

Yes you're right.This is the Greek stealership for Skoda.

They charge 54 euros for a cam-follower,whereas Audi charges 32 euros.:thumbdwn::thumbdwn::thumbdwn:

Some of the NZ dealers to warrantied REVO or MTM remaps.
