1.6 petrol flat spot (cool engine)

Just a bit of info - our car has suffered from a flat spot after restarting on a cool engine eg after moving it on/off the drive. Problem cleared after a couple of miles or so and never ocurred under any other conditions. Dealers (Simpsons, Preston) couldn't trace as intermittent and no error codes showed.

At recent service however they were not to be beaten and did a search of the Skoda world database (or something) and turned up a possible fix, related to lean running at ambient temperatures below 15 deg. which sounded promising. Software fix was duly downloaded. Problem solved! Top marks to Simpsons.
