FL Non Maxidot dash photos?

Featured Replies

Given that the dashboard is the exact same, i would say so.

Unless you've got the SKC code with a dash pod from a FL car, then your going to have to seek someone with some knowledge of these situations (cough *Shark 90* cough).

Given that the new pods have a 7 pin SKC code leaves things a little harder to crack, but im optimistic that it will be cracked shortly :)

Who says they do? :rotz:

Normal 4 digit SKC - or 7 digit if you get it from a dealer (which you can't) with which you need the date it was generated and the dealer's WorkShop Code.

It's thanks to the useful posts I'd read on here pre-purchase, I made sure the car I got had Maxidot! :)

Mine's preFL... I religiously used to have trip 1 MPG showing before I got a Columbus. Now it's mostly on Audio simply for the amount of music stored & the ease of track skip/select options via Maxidot/RH-stalk. Navigation instructions in front of your nose are an absolute Godsend too!

Would hate to be without it...

Hullo Simbo,

I was reading through some old posts and saw this post.

I have a pre FL Octy Elegance with Cruise Control (55 plate). I retrofitted Maxidot and Columbus but I could never get the RH-Stalk to control the Columbus. Nav and Audio displayed OK in Maxidot and MFD control is good but no Columbus control.

Do you reckon you need the highline MFSW controller for this even though you don't have a MFSW?

I messed around with coding for months (when I got the chance of VCDS) but gave up in the end.

Any clues would be much appreciated.

Best,

Mark
