I've just bought a 2006 2.0TDI Octavia estate, lucky me.

Unfortunately because I'm out of the country at the moment I have had to trust somebody else to pick it up from the garage and look after it until I return. Lucky them.

I have just spent the whole evening reading the forums on Briskoda, very useful stuff.

My first project will be to fit an AUX in to the stream radio. The guides that people have written on here will hopefully save me an expensive visit to the dealers.

Apparently you can with non MP3 ones. I think that I need to buy a clever little box that plugs into a spare CD changer socket at the back of the radio unit. The clever little box pretends to be a CD player and allows an AUX input.

I may be wrong and probably am wrong. I'll have a scout around the site to find some answers.

Ahh... yes, you're right - but that's not really fitting an AUX though!

Look up shark_90 (Ben) ...he sells a wondrous little gadget that does just what you're after!
