My recently acquired 05 Octavia Elegence has a problem with Climatronic. I seems to work ok on short trips but not on long ones. A 70M trip with 4up gave big condensation problems.

Their seems to be no air from the centr facia vents?

Did you actually set the air to come from the centre vents? It won't automatically come out on Clima from there. Also when did you last have the air con gas topped up?

Like WDG said, if you operate Climatronic using fan/mode control, you'll actually turn off the AUTO operation. Temperature is ok to use though!

The centre vents output cool air only, so on cold days where heating is needed you get no air from the centre vents. Stick the system on Auto and select a temp of around 20-21c and see if that stops the misting up, make sure ECON is not lit up as that disables the AC which is used to clear misting.

My 55 reg Elegance has never needed any A/C regas, and is still perfectly functional even with temps as high as 40c in southern spain.
