Yeti Bolero Display

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if the Yeti Bolero display can show the time? My wife is complaining she can't see the time when she is in the passenger seat.

Nope, don't think so. I thought about this on mine in the Octy, but can't see that it's an option.

Buy her a watch :D

Just because its not in the manual, does not mean the feature is not available. For example the latest software on the columbus allows the time to be displayed by enabling an option in the menu, there is no mention of this in the manual as that feature was not available then. The bolero manual linked to, is a 6 month old revision and not the latest one.

For sure it could be an "undocumented feature"

But for that to be true - one has to RTFM first.:)

Print off a copy of this and stick it over the display - she'll never notice the difference, and it'll be right twice a day :)

Seriously, if I could trade the clock for the ability to set the headlamps for LHD via the touchscreen (as you can on the Yeti) I would be quite happy. On the XF, the units have to be removed from the car (which requires a 10mm socket) to access the adjustment levers. And ironically, the label on the XF headlamp units says "Made in Czech Republic"!

Thanks to all for their responses. I'll buy her a watch and a Jag.

It is quite a common problem I think and I'm not really sure what made car designers move a clock away from the centre of the dash. There always used to be one there

I remedied it on the last Fabia by fitting one of these from Alpine! Of course that was the one and only reason I fitted it, for the rather large clock :D
