Update on the rear removable strut brace for Faby vRS

Featured Replies

Engine = mechanical

ECU = electrical and is also running as standard.

Spark plugs are part of an engine but they are electrical ;)

Ok guys, i assume that we will get to 10, thus i will price up a batch of 10. John remind me that you will require a stainless steel left hand section to replace the mild steel test parts we used.

Cheers

What ever happened to this thread?

Did anyone get one made up?

And if not why not?

I WANT ONE! :D

In this case spark plugs don't count because it's a diesel you're talking about :D

Mike was doing a lot of work for the Seat guys so there were quite a few made up. In the end, the price was a bit prohibitive at the time, but I've since deleted the PM with all the details in  I may have saved enough now :o

Chris

When I was after one (which was fairly recently) I am sure Mike said he can still make one up for 70.00... Again like Chris I deleated the PM

Not spoke to Mike for months. Don't think the idea took off. I know he's making a load of braces for the seat guys.

I'd gladly pay

Bump.

Ouch...

I still have Mike's development one.

Compared to the front braces I now have the rear doesn't make that much difference.

Hows the front lower, still hitting the engine or have you solved it? Also do you have an email or some method of contact for Mike (PM if you want).

Thanks, Chris.

I'll see if I can hunt out his address tonight.

Funny thing with the brace. It was in at the dealers last week (warranty work) When it cam out the brace seemed to be knocking less. Need to find a spare weekend to get it on ramps, remove the engine cover and have a play with a vice :D
