Hi everyone,

Just joined in anticipation of collecting my new Octavia II Elegance TDI PD tomorrow . My first diesel, but not my first Skoda. My first car was an orange Skoda Estelle in the late 70s. Learnt more about DIY car mechanics with that car than anything else I've owned! Don't think I will get very far with a spanner under the bonnet of the Octavia - but from all the outstanding press reviews I won't need to.

Look forward to sharing my experiences on the Briskoda forums.

Hello, Recently bought a 176k mileage 2017 Superb for a run-around daily, around 2 months later came across an issue with very high oil consumption. It is almost like it is mysteriously vanishing, no leaks, absolutely zero smoke of any colour, and went through about 5 litres of oil in 2k miles. The people that i have been getting advice from made it very unclear what the issue could be. I was told it could be something silly or could be piston rings/turbo, and i doubt that the PCV and the crank

All the subframes on ebay are for mk3 does anyone know if the mk2 and mk3 use the same rear subframe thank you

Hi guys, hoping someone could help with this. Bought a Kenwood DMX6523DABS (6.8 inch screen) for Carplay recently, and the correct cable harness to go with it will be arriving on Thursday, however I cannot find a fascia plate or dashboard fitting online that would fit this screen install. The screen came with a plastic bezel that covers the metal cage that locks it into place, but it still leaves the big gaps in the dashboard. Hi. Can someone send me an aliexpress/ Amazon link or OEM part number for the correct plastic door card trim fittings please? I broke a couple when fitting my speakers and there were enough left intact to put the door card back on but I’m planning on removing the door cards again for an upcoming project so it would be handy to have a few spare to replace the missing ones and just in case some more go. Thanks!
