Featured Replies

take the car of the drive and find the rear drivers side tyre is flat, and it has a huuuge chunk of what essentially looks like shrapnel in it(it looks like scrap metal thats been through a grinder or some such, probably off the back of a recycling lorry dropping scrap off at the port of tyne)...beyond repair, new tyre required..just over 1000 miles on it

curse my rotten luck

Just had to order two for similar and it's a piece of umbrella in my case :(

I had something similar happen recently, fortunately to my previous car, *but* clued me to having a proper spare rather than relying on ****. At least it's not a Concorde!

Yes, I'd be more than a little concerned if your car tyre had exploded and the resulting debris had ruptured your fuel tank, causing an explosion and subsequent fire  ;)
