adjusting full beam

Featured Replies

ive managed to get the height of my full beam adjusted back to roughly what they were before the garage pointed them to heaven, now i need to move them out to the sides abit more so i can see corners and ahead on sweeping bends.

The questions are:

1. which way do i turn the screw to move them out to the side?

2. how much do i turn the screw to move them out about 5 degrees?

cheers

Apologies for hijacking the OP's question - my car is going for the Irish MOT soon and I want to make sure the lights won't fail it (I think they're alright). Is there a standard for how high they should be pointed to be ok? Dipped beam should shine no higher than the top of the light units is one guideline I heard that may be right, but I'm not sure.

In reply to the OP question: Probably the easiest thing to do is wait till its dark and turn each of the adjuster screws with the lights on to see what effect they have. If the light moves the wrong way just turn the other way...
