Im going to buy a Fabia (sometime) and need some mpg figures.

What do you get on the 1.4 TDI Greenline in:

Town:

Mixed:

Highway (75mph):

Country (50mph):

I did a 230 mile run in my dads greenline at the weekend, a mixture of local roads, town and dual carriageway driving. The trip computer at the end of the journey was reporting just under 66mpg for total distance.

What I get depends on weather, load, roads, traffic and speed (obviously). On an unloaded trip on the motorway at about 60 one warm evening I have recorded 104mpg from the trip computer. That's about the best I've done. In the summer I have done fully loaded, 2 adults 2 kids, trailer roofbox and prob v.near or over max weight for vehicle, again at 60mph as trailer limits permit 300 mile trip got 62mpg More typical mpgs for travelling at 70-85 on motorway would prob be 65-70mpg. You won't hit the published figures if you travel much over 60mph I'm afraid, but that's probably the same for all cars.
