Autotech Internals- To fit or not to fit?

Featured Replies

I have got some Autotech internals and have just had a stage one map installed. I have no problems at all with the map but just wondered whether I should fit the hpfp internals for maybe a little more power or sell them on?

I did a fuel pressure rail log with VCDS form 1400rpm to 6320rpm.

Blue is requsted pressure

Red is actual pressure

looking at this I don't need them as the fuel pressure is high all the way through the revs. Thoughts please :).

What gear was that in?

4th gear

Try 6th at motorway speeds at WOT, that's usually where you can make it happen if you will make it happen. It's usually low revs high load situations.

Thanks I'll try that, do you mean 70mph then floor it?

I read somewhere that if the reading falls much below 100 bar then it may need one, don't know if this is true or not.
