Thinking of getting one....

Featured Replies

Good evening all,

Been tempted to take a test drive in the 140 bhp 4x4 TDI CR Elegance. Can any of you who have one or driven one give me some feed back please....Got the 1.6 TDI CR Octavia Elegance but like the look and kit level you get on the new Yeti as above.

And do you think they are worth the money? Not that I care about the cost cus, they should be as good as the rest of the range if not better,,,:o Thanks Ash AKA Skodabob;)

Hi Skodabob,

I have the car you are considering. It is a very, very good car. The major plus point is the road holding and overall driving experience....I would describe it as MINI-esque in its roadholding. The fuel consumption is good and the overall quality is high. The minor negative points would be overall boot space (if you elect for the spare wheel option), and the middle back seat does get caught up in the front arm rest unit when the seat is folded. Also the handbrake is not very good ergonomically with the front arm rest in full forward position.

But, in my opinion, these minor weaknesses are more than outweighed by the overall driving experience...it is like driving a Mini Cooper with all wheel drive and the 4x4 driving position.

Hope this helps you.

It is with regret that I have just informed the Octy forum that to day I had a test drive of the Yeti 4x4 Elegance 2 Litre (140 bhp). As a result of the test drive, I must hand in my membership to the Octy Forum as I will be in the Yeti forum as from Tuesday.

Dead lucky, got the Demonstrator with park assist for a pint of stella under £20K. I found it to ba a sunning car.

Agree about the drive but my only experience is in the demo been waiting since 28/10/2009.I will have to be patient for another 3/4 weeks:thumbdwn: as I ordered the 110bhp engine.
