Picked Up My New Octavia Pd130 Tonight

Featured Replies

Picked up my Octavia estate pd130 from white dove in Cardiff tonight. I'm really pleased with it, just a bit sad to see my old scooby go :(

Before anyone asks the t and the d are red on the badge and the i is silver!

Book says 310nm of torque so can't wait for it to be run in.

When I ordered it I didn't realise it came with a cd changer!

Hmmm... Got it from White Dove, eh?

Can't be far from where I live. What colour is is? I'll be especially careful to give you a wave if I see you (I try to acknowledge most of the Skodas I see, except the trilby hat "I don't care what make it is - it was cheap" brigade).

BTW - what do you think of White Dove? The dealer I bought my car from (Langstone Motors) told me that they no longer have the Skoda franchise; Thompson & Thompson in Caldicot are taking it over. If WD are any good, they are a bit easier to reach from here than Caldicot.

Its silver.

I too tried Langstone as I live not far from Langstone and was told they had lost the franchise.

As for White Dove, a friend bought a VRS from them last year and had good service, even to the extent of them doing the tracking for free because he thought the car was pulling to the left. It wasn't it was just tramlining like all cars with low profile tyres do but then his last car was a nissan sunny!

So far the buying experience has been painless especially with 0% finance

You do get over it - trust me :)

Especially when a world of tuning options await you.

If you have a Skoda/Audi/VW petrol or diesel with TURBO - the engineering tolerances are such that you really can start to have some fun. (See the Jabba rolling road thread as it builds up)

Just you make sure you run it in first !
