Mercedes Buys Brawn!!!!!!!!

Featured Replies

Is that the same sort of underdog as Hamilton was with Alonso at McLaren?

As the new boy to F1, Hamilton certainly got under the skin of the percieved number one driver during the 2007 season and ended up on the same points. However, the 2007 season also had the 'spygate' scandal as a centerpiece which put the relationship between the pair under the microscope and Hamilton came out on top.

But as has been said previously, next season it'll be the battle of the Dads :D

Well we get to find out now. Button has signed for McLaren.

Rumours have it that Kimi R will now be without a drive and Ferrari is paying possibly as much as 20,000,000 Euros not race!!!!!:eek::eek:

Apparently he is now trying to get a Rally drive for next year.

I reckon jlwah is right, while Lewis maybe quicker than JB, with what appears maybe a very close championship and Lewis's habit of throwing the car into the scenery could, possibly, give Jenson a chance.

Great season lined up though.

Just why o why is yet another british manufacturer being branded by a non british manufacturer? (apart from the obvious reason lol!)

Mind, it is incredibly funny a massive, prestigious German company with an amazing motorsports heritige has there engines built in the UK and now also have there F1 cars built here! Why didnt they buy toyota, they are based in Germany?

J

I can’t see Jenson beating Hamilton. He just isn’t quite as talented and Hamilton has got a 'Felix the Cat' sized bag of talent. Don’t get me wrong, I am and have always been a JB fan, but Hamilton has been handpicked and reared by McLaren since he was a child. He is an intimate part of the company and he showed that he is very at home there by sending the 2 times World Champion home crying to his mother.

JB has a much better constitution:thumbup:, but if the car has any handling quirks, I fear he will suffer.:(
