They look uber cool!

I think that the old ones look better Rob. Not really much point in having DRL's if you can't really see them is there?

i suspect they look brighter in the flesh. digital camers have a habit of either over exagerating, or more often dimming down bright lights in photos as they try to balance everything. edit: i might have to be ordering some for that price! out of interest, where did you fit them to in terms of power source? are they on with the ignition?

They are a lot brighter than the old ones. The old ones lit up the wall in my garage from about 1m away, these light up the whole garage as I drive in!

The photos of the new ones were taken on a bright sunny day with a DSLR and the one above of the old was at dusk with a compact that didn't do low light that well!

For the source I hooked them to the switched live that feeds the stereo - purely because it was easy to get to

So they come on with the ignition and are always on and separate to the other lights.

I'm much happier with these ones. I think they can stay!

Like them a lot and very tempted, just gotta see if fleabay has any simlar in the uk.

Are they LED's or simply CCL's with a cover on?

Those new ones look good Rob. I reckon they'd work really well integrated into the center beam on the standard VRS front side grills.
