As some of you know I have done several Cannonball runs. I have decided next year will be the last (maybe) and to that end I have been looking for a special event to finish on.

Yesterday I came across http://www.cannonballextreme.com/ I had a long chat with one of the organisers & managed to glean a few facts about it that are not published yet & its enough for me to start giving it serious consideration.

The proposed route sounds stunning & as well as the usual Southern European hot spots theres a spin through northern Europe including a stay in the Country that makes the best cars in the world if you get my drift.

The track they have booked is truly awesome. Its a complex similar to Rokingham & they have booked the lot for the day so those who want to know their cars top speed have a banked oval to play with & then there will be the infield circuit for some twisties. If you go on the web site & click the link to the track on the news section to the right it gives more details (the main track link hasnt been updated yet)

So any more Skodas fancy having a go, it would be nice to take a couple back home !!
