What Other Vag Seats Fit The Octy?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what other seats (fronts only) from the VAG range fit directly into the Octy II?

Good Question the only thing I really dont like about my car is are the seats.

Mk5 Golf and probably the Leon Mk2 chairs too.

Ahh so If Mk5 Golf will fit them I guess Audi A3 will also fit? I want some seats with extendable thigh support and the electric lumbar adjustment. Lets get on Ebay and see what is for sale....

Afaik those would be only available from A4 upwards... unless the S3 had them. Normal A3's definately don't have the extendable thigh support even in sports seats. I'd kill for those Audi sports seats as well, but unfortunately only the more expensive Audi's in VAG get to enjoy from them :(

Hi,

Found this thread as I’ve had my 2009 Octavia Estate MK2 FL for six months now, and my only gripe is the seats. They are too narrow, getting pain in right thigh, seat bone area. Currently using an 11° wedge, but with this you lose the support from side bolsters, the MK1 Seat Leon I had before where far better and much wider.

What other front and back seats from the VAG group will fit without having to mod connectors [airbag, seat belt etc.]?

Can someone help?

Thanks in advance

I'm sure a Briskodian has fitted Audi A6 seats in the front of their Octy.

Sarge.

I have fitted some A6 S-line leather seats.  Electric lumbar plus extendable thigh support (who the hell uses this???). Wider base / less aggressive bolsters and longer bolster so doesn't doesn't cut into my thigh.  I'm very happy with them.  Anyone want a set of mint vRS front seats?

Fit fine though need a mounting lug grinding off.  The airbag connector is different though, I've not wired mine up yet but looks easy enough. Likewise needs a bit of faffing (new climate control panel and loom) for enabling the heated seats and electric lumbar: not got round to that yet either..

Have to admit the seats are a weak point for me!

Got any pictures please? :)

Have been comparing VAG models. Would I be correct in assuming that the Octavia II Estate is based on the VW MK5 Golf Estate?

Yes. Its same chassis estate or hatch.

Here's pics of my 2010 A6 Sline leather seats.  Suit the car really well in my eyes.  Could do with the rears recovering to match though!
