Sorry if this is a repost but...

Anyone else seen the latest issue of Top Gear with the 2009 cars of the year on the cover?

Of the eight cars two are Skodas, the Yeti won best family car and the Superb Estate won best luxury car.

Not sure abut the Yeti but I think the Supurb Estate will be a big hit with middle class urbanites in the same way as the old Volvo estates were/are. Looks lovely as well: better than Saloon IMHO!

For the past few days, I’ve noticed that the Remote Park Assist option has been added to the Assisted Drive Plus package in the configurator (though I’m not sure if this applies to all countries). I asked my dealer if this option can be activated for vehicles that have already been produced. He informed me that vehicles produced starting from production week 48/2024 will be able to be equipped with Remote Park Assist, and I have not received any information regarding the possibility of

I had a low coolant error flash up the other day (first time ever). Checked coolant level & it was a bit low. Topped it up & will keep monitoring. Question is where has the coolant escaped from? No obvious signs of any leaks. Mileage is 52,500 & next service is away off. Does the 280 have a weep hole in the water pump to indicate a new pump is required?

My 2023 Fabia started throwing up two faults. First the windshield wipers stop working and there's a fault about that. So far I have been able to get them started again by turning them on and off a few times. Then another fault happens in rapid succession and the lane assist stops working. I have an extended warranty until September but the dealer suggested it might be out of warranty because I recently had an oil service, MOT, and new tyres fitted at a local garage. Any advice welcome.
