Ordered New Vrs

Featured Replies

Got word on Friday morning that my employers had approved my application for car allowance instead of company car - stuck in a meeting all morning BUT then ordered a new vRS on Friday afternoon, now very excited ! :D

I'm going to pick it up on Friday 30th ! :drive1:

Looking forward to joining the ranks properly soon - are the stickers back in stock yet ??

Congratulations, and welcome to the vRS owners club ! (maybe we should start that club ? lol)

Must be so much sweeter when the company is paying for the car ;). What colour will you be getting?

One thing is sure, you wont be disappointed :D

I'll second the sticker question too...

I carefully removed the dealer sticker from below the hi-level brakelight today, after letting the sun heat it up first ;)

Shame you won't be able to have it remapped if its a company car ?

Is it a hatch, what is the colour and the specs?

I seem to be the only one on a 2 month waiting list.

Are you having any options fitted? That usually screws the delivery time up well & truly.

yes cruise control and parking sensors, in yellow, they said there were not any in that spec in the whole uk. it is being built next week.

That would explain it then :)

I was tempted to wait for a black vRS, but as silver was available in 7 days, and i was part-ex'ing a black car anyway, i decided on a change, and i don't regret it at all :D

It's a hatch, it's black, there's no optional equipment because I didn't want to wait, but I'll be getting cruise control and possibly the parking sensors retro-fitted. Apparently the Skoda cruise control kit will be out in September and dealer fitting will cost about

180bhp will probably suffice :) (Fabpreza I get paid a car allowance so it is actually my own car).

No it won't, trust me :) and as its your car, the only things you have to think about are insurance and warranty. All I'll say is that the cars (vRS & 4x4) appear to be more capable than most of handling the extra power and torque :D

I believe that is the total cost. This info came from the Sales Manager at the dealership in Dumfries. :)

Fab, I drive like enough of an ar****le at times in my 1.6 Focus - I think I will probably be doing well to

a) be alive

B) still have a driving licence

in six months with 180 bhp let alone with even more power ! :p

Greg - I'm sure you'll love the RS - I have a black one so if you see one around Edinburgh - could be me...
