i want the back lower and to have no arch gap....

Two bags of sand in the boot will do it.

Take the adjusters out and leave the adjuster cups in. That should give you another 5mm at least

I was thinking of sand bags :D but i dont want the extra weight! and im looking for more than 5mm extra aswell think i will have to go down the custom spring route :wonder:

Well I know it's your car, but to be honest, I think it looks spot on mate. If it must go lower, then shorter springs with the same spring rate would do it, or slightly softer springs that would compress more with standard rear weight.

Other option is bigger wheels with lower profile tyres, back and front of course.

Remove the spinners from the threads and sit the spring on the black cup

By doing this^^^^

removing the cup how much lower will it go?

It will lower it by how thick the spinners are, did it to mine and got rid of the arch gap.

Yer remove the adjuster cups (both bits) thats what i did and mine sits like this at the rear

thats what im looking for ^^^^

i just dont want any arch gap

so just remove everything but the springs :D ?

nice Fab m8

I put mine back in as it gave a more compliant ride.

Also, to everyone fitting coilovers, I would suggest you take a look at your rear bumpstops.

If you have not cut them down/ fitted shorter ones I suggest you do so, as you will be riding around on them otherwise.

chris w - does having your fabia that low cause any scraping?? are the ap coilies good for the cheap price??

The undertray will scrub like a b!tch and most likely the rear wheels if its full with passengers... my Ibiza used to on 17's so seeing as his is on 16's i'm guessing it will do the same! :)

How long have the coilovers been on ?? As they will settle further in time ..

Yer thats what i did, the springs wont fall out as some people say cause you have coilovers so the shock wont allow the arm to drop far enough (mine dont anyway) and they have a slight cup to sit in.

I didnt find that much dif on the ride difference with the adjusters out maybe a little bit bouncier but nothing to worry about.

Yes it does rub on inner arch and undertray but i took mine off or shall i say it took itself off lol but apart from that no :) got no rear seats so no one gets in the back but when i did it didnt rub with 2 people in the back.

I've had my coilovers on for about 2 months . I have had no bother with mine just my splitter catches everything lol and I rate the ap's well there a great bit of kit for the money. I will strip the cups out hopefully tomorrow at work if the ramp is empty, why and what do I have to do with my bump stops they are important! Aren't they?

I havent cut mine down and it doesnt sit on them?

Thats the cups out siting a lot better i think but i want to go lower! :giggle:

will get a pic up tomorrow to see the difference
