It's quite common for company cars to be third party. I know our fleet cars are. It works out cheaper for the company to pay for any repairs that are not covered by the third party insurance than to pay for fully comprehensive cover.

Heading quite off-topic (in respect of Yetis) but last time I tried to get TPFT cover (a couple of years back on a Mondeo 2.5, clean licence etc) it was going to cost more than fully comp! Yes really. No-one at the brokers could really understand why although apparently it's not uncommon nowadays, but the cheapest fully comp quote was significantly cheaper than the cheapest TPFT.

Probably due to statistics showing that those who wanted TPFT were more risky than fully comp customers.

If you pay off the minimum on your credit card, you're a worse risk that if you pay nothing.

Logic says if you pay mimimun its all you can afford, whereas if you par nothing you may have forgotten / cheque gone missing etc etc.

None of the above: I want the 1.6 common rail diesel; enough grunt for undemanding conditions (same as the 1.9Tdi), but better economy.

I'd go for that engine too, apart from if it had a DPF I wouldn't be too keen.
