Superb Estate Prices Released

Featured Replies

Skoda UK have published the prices for the Superb Estate today. Details are on the Skoda UK website and also here:

http://www.carsuk.net/skoda-superb-estate-uk-prices/ (which is easier to print out!)

The new prices include vat at 17.5%, which goes some way to explain why the estate costs around £1600+ more than the equivalent hatch with 15% vat.

Although still much cheaper than a Passat or MB estate, it's getting a bit pricy now unless you really need all the extra legroom. If only the Octavia estate had that panoramic sunroof option, I'd be seriously tempted to buy an Octy instead.

Posted in our news section earlier today too :) CErtainly a lot of cash now, but also a lot of saving over other similar specs.

It's a nice looker though. I'd have one if they're giving them away....but at £25k I'd have to think about it.

looks good looks similar to the new golf estate tbh but its a bit too pricey imo

I have a 55 plate Superb 2.5 TDi Elegance, the new estate really looks the business, but honestly, isn't £25k getting a bit steep for what is intended to be VAG's budget range? Comparisons against premium makes don't hold water I'm afraid. No, I'm thinking this one will be my last Superb.

Prices have gone up tbh, 25k for a top range car like this isn't unreasonable, plus you gotta get your discount off it, just sit in a Passat SEL, then a Superb Elegance and I assure you your cheque will say Skoda rather than VW, you get so much more in the Skoda, stupid little touches like lights in the door handles etc make it for me, for example I fancy a Passat, sat in my mates one the other day and felt like I'd dropped 4 levels of trim, infact the car is plain nasty inside, can't say that of my mk1 or the mk2 Superb.

Fair point of view. Currently though, I can't see any VAG motor in my future other than the two that I already own.

Well, I'm after a 2.0TDI 4x4 Elegance and at £26,245 it sounds quite steep, but actually it's dirt cheap compared to an A4 Avant Quattro or even a non-4WD Passat SEL (which is what I'm currently running). Also, this will be a business lease and the projected rates are extremely good. I think it looks fabulous and basically, I want one!

£22,315 for the manual CR 170 dlesel SE, which is all you need (+ £1,280 for the DSG) is a fairer figure to judge the Superb estate on.

Most of the Elegance items are cosmetic, and presumably any that people think particularly desirable can be ordered as extras on an SE.

After this Passat there's no way I'll ever have a DSG again. I'd honestly rather drive a manual.

I want the Xenons, Sat Nav and Leather, so the Elegance is a no-brainer for me. The 4WD is simply because I think it will give me a fraction more usability in the winter (with winter tyres) and it's projected to hold it's value better so the lease payments are almost the same as the 2WD.

definate tried the passat and mondeo same price range and the superb was so much better and so much more space agree you get so much more with the superb those light in the handles are great more comfort to be sure the passat was like sitting on a bed of nails not good the mondeo was better than the passat but again the price and drive is not so good

£25k does seem a lot until you take a similar car made by someone else (Mondeo, Accord, Passat) and try to spec it to the same level. Once you've done that £25k for a Superb is the bargain of the century!

I could be going blind, but is the 2.0 CRD 4x4 Estate available as a manual? The official SUK website only appears to show it available as a DSG?

Yeah, £26,245 for the Elegance.

Presumably the 170 CRD. Love one, but at >£26k it's too much cash. I'll stick to the 55 plate 2.5 TDi for the next couple of years. Maybe I could then get an 18 month old one for about £15k?
