Oil Temp reading

Featured Replies

For aerofurb or anybody else with a post wk45 Yeti.

Do you have an oil temp reading included in your Multi-functional indicator / Maxidot as it's in the handbook but I don't appear to have this function.

Reading today on the Octavia II forum it's a post wk45 addition.

Yup, got one on mine too! Didn't know it was a new thing. It starts indicating when the oil temp is above 50 degC, seems to sit around 90 degC when warmed up. Something else to watch when queueing in the snow to get home!

No doubt a BMW 1-Series will have two.... ;)

Many thanks guys.

Sounds like a neat touch :)

Does anyone know if there have been any other running changes made to the Yeti since production began? Would like it if ESP found its way onto the base models!

Yes I can confirm that the oil temp readout in the Maxi-Dot is a post week 45 feature.. My car is pre week 45, and I would like to have this feature.. I will check if it's possible to have this "coded" into an early intsrument cluster..

:wonder:

From last nights posts then for Snow-monsters post WK45 there's at least two additional functions for the Maxidot and of course as Jon A informed us engine updates.

Beginning to think my RHD Monster might be reasonable rare then; UK production started WK32, 13 weeks before the updates. Wonder how many where imported in that time?

Don't forget to leave Yeti at home if you intend to  :cocktail:

Best wishes,

TP
