No, it's dependent on other factors as you suggest together with the risk profile.

Made an enquiry today about insurance from yourselves and must say i was very impressed. Great to talk to somebody from the uk and provide a great service.

Not only did you beat my renewal quote by £300, but you also beat my best quote and gave me some extras on the policy!!

My apologies for being away from the forums for so long. We have had a few internal changes.

March is a very busy month for insurance renewals so please feel free to ring us if your car insurance is due for renewal in the next few weeks.

In 2010, we recorded an average saving of 10.5% off our new customers quotes elsewhere and we have just had an extremely good first 2 months of the year – surpassing our target by quite a vast amount!

In fact, we were already two thirds to our February target a quarter of the way through the month!

It is great to see people ringing us up but we would like every possible person who fits the criteria to at least ring us on the freephone number and hopefully see the benefits that so many other people are seeing.

Just got a quote but was more than the current renewal. Oddly the quote was based on me as the main driver and using my NCB 10+ years whereas the renewal was under my wife who only has 4 years NCB.

Thanks for the quote I received last week, shame it was higher than the lowest I have been given (I blame the BB postcode)

Just a warning Chris Knott are excellent but you will most probably be insured with LV who are utter rubbish.If you get hit by a car driving on the wrong side of the road they put it down as a 50/50 knock even thou you get a letter from there useless solicitors saying the third party admitied that they where in the wrong.Oh and if you have £3.5k of mods forget it they might give you £500 if your lucky.Heres to higher insurance.

Just to let you know, I spoke with Martin who took all my details for a quote and had the courtesy to tell me that the underwriter was taking a while, so asked to call me back and took my number (rather than keeping me on hold).

However, unfortunately you couldn't get anywhere near my renewal quote.

hi all !! first of all let me say i am new to this site. i am due to pick up my first skoda on saturday (a black magic mk1 vrs)and truly cannot wait.

now back on topic!! i have been searching for cheap insurance over the past couple of days and THOUGHT i had found the best policy available to me (used confused.com and the insurer was AXA)lets just say it was considerably cheaper than what everyone else could do for me.

now it was only by chance i was reading these boards and stumbled upon chris knott insurance so before i went ahead with the axa policy i though i may as well give C K a ring (after all what have i got to lose) i rang them up and lets just say im extremely impressed with the service they provided, very polite and willing to help me as much as they possibly could! Not only did they better the low price that AXA gave me they also gave me a much much better policy (less excess, unlimited mileage,free legal etc)

all in all brilliant service and I would recommend Chris Knott to anyone who is looking to insure there car they are a very good alternative to the price comparison websites

For once, it was the compare sites that worked in my favour when I sorted my insurance out a few months ago. Had been with Chris Knott a few years and got a ridiculous renewal quote that was quite insulting. Rang around many insurers but for some reason Admiral was the cheapest for me, they gave me the same quote as I had found on Confused. Hopefully next year will be different though as paying circa £300 more than last year is a joke IMO. (p.s I'm 31, full no claims and no mods).
