Thanks again Tom,

looked like she was fitted with 16" Spectrum alloys and winters, but the speed the nearside wheels were going makes me wonder if they had off-road :wonder: Make no jot of difference once she's 'beached' though :S

Regards,

TP

HOWEVER,

if you notice the Scooby drove into a pre-driven set of tyre tracks, whereas the Yeti drove into VIRGIN snow, so not a fair comparison!!

The yeti was still moving on the close of film.

Would have got further with snow chains on.... :S

Another Russian snow video.

Great video.

Good to see what it's capable of, but personally mine (hopefully) won't be taking such punishment. Pulling a caravan out of a field should be child's play.

 reminds me a bit of Aberangle rally stages mear Mallwyd....I want to have a go!

Must remeber to look at that one at home tonight, damn Network Rail blocks YouTube!!

Oh and Lady P, its ABERANGELL, but I'll allow it this time!!

If only the Yeti had a low range gearbox option, it would have made most of that bouncing around and high speed (just to keep going) unnecessary.

Would complete what looks like a very competent car.

Sorry :'( Llanigraham,

I just typed it from sound andI did not not look it up! 100 lines and a detention! :giggle:

Dim problem, dim problem. ( thats Cymro for those that don't know )

Can't be Aberangell, not enough MUD!!!!

Good video, and that looks like the stuff I get up to, so now I know it will do it. Interesting that you can hear the Haldex and ABS clicking at around 2:36.

Feelthy Video. What was wierd was that, although the sides were gunged up, the back door was almost clean. Perhaps I am driving too slowly through the crud!

If you drove like that at most UK sites you would be thrown out very quickly!!

The general rule is as slow as neccesary.

That's pretty impressive, Yeti going rallying :)

When car mags e.t.c. complain about slightly jiggly low speed ride of the Yeti maybe they should remember that most road cars probably couldn't handle that type of rutted off road surface very well!
