Jetex oval exhaust

Featured Replies

not quite sure tbh i know blueflame and miltek systems fit

I am after changing my exhaust on my Fabia.

I personally will be buying the blueflame unit.

Its about £70-80 more expensive than the jetex unit but about 1000%

better looking IMO. I've seen photos of all of the available aftermarket exhausts

fitted and the blue flame fits the cut out in the rear bumper VERY snugly indeed!!!

Also it only has one hole... What I mean is if you look down it, it doesn't have the

two holes a bit further in... I always thought that spoiled the look of the original exhaust

making it look like a cheapo halfords tail pipe trim.... If you are after upping the

power of your engine... (Or already have....) The blue flame should easily cope with

whatever is blown through it... I'm ordering mine in a few weeks after my wallet heals from xmas...

Bugger, along long way from me then. I'll have to find a local pipe bender, and see if he can come up with aprice close to yours.

I was getting quoted £400 - £450 for the exact same work elsewhere!

So i'm glad i stuck with my usual guy. If you're up for the jaunt you won't regret it as his quality really is brilliant and i've never had or heard a bad word about him at all

I have the prototype Jetex system on my car. It was the first made and the first fitted to a car. It looks nice. Very similar to OEM spec. There isnt much change in noise. But the turbo definately spools up quicker and i'm sure the car does make a bit mor epower. But I would highly recommend one - i've done 12000 miles with it on and had no knocks or rattles!

Wow thats cool! i'll pm you in a bit.

cheers

I can't comment on the Jetex exhaust for the Fabia, but I had one on my MkII GTI and the fit was spot on, just like OEM. I had a mild steel first and them replaced it with stainless when they started making them. Neither exhaust rattled, knocked or caught any part of the underside of the car. If I ever need to change the Octy exhaust, I know where I'll be looking.
