The forums Project Journals and Members cars are almost identical in nature.

The addition of blogs (forums by another name) will give the authors far more scope for daily updates or journal style reporting on there cars.

We're going to issue more notices but I hope to have Project Journals and Members cars archived by Feb and then deleted by March 1st.

This gives all old and new members plenty of time to either cut and paste or delete entries.

There is no migration process between forum posts and blog posts at this point in time. This is a shame as some good comments might be lost... however as it's a blog you can actually quote those of good quality in the text.

Erm.. I click the "Blogs" link in the navbar, and I can view the two that are there, but there's no option to post my own?

Also, do new blog posts show up in a "new posts" search?

If they don't, how will people know to look? This kinda defeats the point of updating

Accessed from your control panel. Yes they do show up as new content.

I am getting a database error when accessing the blogs tab in my control panel.

Has the "Members Cars" section disappeared already?

I was going to move mine over to a blog but I can't find it.

Col's post above said it wasn't disappearing until March :'(
