Windows are always covered in condesation......help me.

Featured Replies

I got a Yplate Fabia 1.9 sdi Comfort, had it two months, bought it for the wife.

The inside of ALL glass is covered in condesation everytime the car is stood. Thought it was because it had been valeted and it was the moisture from that, but after two months its made no differance. Ive checked the Pollen Filtger and its dry. The O/S footwell carpet is somewhat damp and it feels damp up to the bulkhead, or whereever my had would reach up there.

Anyone got any ideas as i'm worried it could cause damage

would that casue it there to be dampness up at the back of the dash/bulkhead?

pollen filter housing can let water in if the bulkhead drain holes are blocked by leaves

Get that sorted quickly. If left as is, the wiring loom will get wrecked. Most likely plenum chamber below the windscreen is blocked with leaves and other debris.

Ive had a go at removing the plastic grill below the windscreen, eventually getting the plastic clips off, but the wiper arms wont budge.

Lift cover at the base of the wiper arm, where it covers the spindle, there's a nut underneath.

I have found that keeping a couple of large sachets of silca gel in the car has stopped this problem for me so far!!!
