The problem i have with my 06 vrs is that when the headlights are on and you open the door the buzzer doesnt go off. Also yo cannot hear the indicators clicking when they are on. Are these related and what can i do to fix it?

New instrument cluster IIRC.

Mine went, fortunately whilst still in warranty 3 years ago.

It was 18 months old at 12000 miles, failure also knocks out the low fuel and low temp (ice warning) tones.

Mileage is reset to actual when panel is replaced. They also need both the car keys if I recall correctly, probably the intelligent bit of the security system is also housed in the dash panel.

Not a long job to fit but the panel itself isn't cheap I understand.
