BLUETOOTH HANDSFREE KIT

Featured Replies

ok

looking for a bluetooth hands free kit for my vrs with symphony head unit.

was going to fit the xcarlink one with my ipod kit but that only works when you are listening to the ipod.

my dad has a parrot in his fabia not sure which stereo tho (standard tape one) and that seems to work ok.

I would like something small the sits out of sight really.

Can you get a skoda oem kit? found one for the octavia but could not see anything for the fabia when i searched here and yahoo.

what kits would people recomend. as i say something small would be nice and maybe something that can be hidden out of view. want to keep the standard stereo

thanks dave

i fit the parrot phone kits for a living, i have fitted the ck3100 in the ashtray infront of gearstick in a few fabia keeping it out of the way and the lid can be closed when your leaving the car.

I also fit plenty of CK3100s, they really are the best I've come across for flexibility and call quality.

I agree with the above, Parrot kits are the best. and easiest to use.

i will get myself a parrot kit then :-)

quick question then.

in dads fabia he has a parrot. he has paired his and mums phones with it. fine when only one of them are in the car but how do you make 1 phone be prefernce over the other when both of them are in the car?? thanks

I've fitted over 500 Parrot kits in the last 3 years! Only had problems using Samsung Tocco phones. They allow incoming calls, but not for making calls. Just a siftware glitch on the Samsung phones!

I'd recommend the newer 9100 kit - its small, the button is worked by remote and can be fitted anywhere - even to the steering wheel & it comes with USB, ipod & Aux leads!

If you are wanting a Bluetooth carkit and also iPod connectivity then go for the Parrot MK9200i. That kit is just the best thing on the Market by far, it will even display your album artwork, artist, track title and it allows you to choose anything you like. Plus it's also a full Bluetooth carkit so keeps you fully legal for making and recieving calls as well.

I will agree Parrots are the best. Easy to fit and really easy to use.

Got mine off amazon really cheap brand new aswell.

I'm fitting the basic ck3000 in MRS Grrs SDI today if it stops bleeding snowing.

I have one in mine and I'm dead happy with it.

Good question, I don't think you can give them a preference order. Through my days of having two phones, I just turned bluetooth off on the phone I didn't want to use.

The parrot 9100 & 9200 are the same kit - just the screen is colour on the 9200 + its £40 more!

Oh and for preference the kit will always do it in order depending on which order you pair them up. 1st phone will be priority - then the next etc. But Parrot are working on a patch at the moment to sort that!

You need to be aware that the 9100 and the 9200 run their own amps and don't use the stereo to play music. Good value considering a simialr spwc Icelink is over £100 retail

You should have a male end on the yellow wire? connect it to the the other yellow wire on the end of the wiring loom which connects to the power side of the car loom. its the "mute2" wire?????

i dont seem to have a spare yellow wire on the back of the stereo.

where do the line in/out need to go?

anything to do with the two spare multi blocks where the cd changer plugs in?

The yellow cable connects to another yellow cable which is on the parrot loom - it reads "mute2"
