How do you gain access to the front tow eye?

looked at hand book and it tells me to pull the cover next to the lower grill on the drivers side.

my bro and i have both tried this and not been able to budge it.

would be handy as i had to be towed up a hill yesterday BACKWARDS!!! by a 20yr old suzuki vitara!!!! :( :S

Is there a release or something i'm missing?

Not sure about your specific car but usually their is a little rectangular plastic plug that is retained by plastic hooks or ratchets. They usually just prise out but sometimes it helps if the hooks are compressed a little, the rectangle then pops out.

As far as Im aware the cover next to the O/S fog light just unclips to allow you to put the towing eye in.

Should just pull out, i dont have foglights. But both covers come out quite easily.
