Hi from snowy Guildford!

Hi all just thought I'd better say hi as I'm new to this forum. I currently run two Felecia's, a 98 GLI hatch and a 97 LXI Estate, both 1.3 mpi's but am hoping to trade up to a Fabia Vrs in the not to distant future. I also have a Land Rover Discovery V8 and am an active member of the Discovery Owners Club. Love the Skoda's, they have been the most reliable cars I've ever owned! I do have on slight problem though, in the GLI the front pasenger door won't open if you put the key in the drivers door, but if you put the key in the pasenger door they both open fine. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Steve

Welcome Steve :)

Welcome, i am just down the road from you in Redhill  I think your closest Skoda garage (Station-Garage) have a Limited Edition Fabia vRS at the moment

Cheers - Dave

Welcome to Briskoda, from Snowy Stevenage and Rickmansworth.

Welcome aboard. I have happy memories of my 96 1.6 Felicia, great wee car.

ok, hi steve, i'm assuming you have central locking from the above description...

there is a metal rod on the back of the lock barrel that goes down to the actual lock, it is seperate from the central locking mechanism as that has it's own rod! sometimes they come unclipped from thier little ball studs... can you hear anything rattling about in the door?

Hi Tom,

yes I do have central locking, I can't hear anything, but then I am half deaf in one ear! :giggle: Also to my shock it unlocked via the drivers door yesterday, though today it's gone back to normal. Now I'm really confused lol! :wonder:
