I don't know if this is garbage or not, but came across it on a rare look at ebay:-

Hmm...the impression I get is it makes the engine run with a richer fuel mix, so it

would be like driving around with a choke on all the time. So fuel economy would

vanish, and if there's unburnt fuel going through the cat that might vanish soon

after!

Am still curious as to what it is though, especially as, when

you look at the seller's other items, it appears to be available

for most makes...

It's a con...

This one has been going around for MX5's as well and is simply a resistor mod that is fitted across the air intake sensor. It fools the ECU into thinking there is more air flowing so it over fuels and runs rich.

Makes bog all difference so don't go near it with a barge pole... I reckon the guy has given up on Mazda's and changed to Skodas instead!
