Towing eyes included without spare wheel option?

Featured Replies

Can anyone confirm that it is normal if the towing eye is not included with my Yeti?

Today collected 2WD 110bhp without spare wheel option. I have the tyre repair kit including canister of gloop and electric compressor. I would have thought that the towing eye would be equally at usefull regardless of weather you have a spare wheel or not. Anyone else out there without a spare wheel?

I think Skoda assist will have one, as well as a compatible spare to tow you to a garage.

So what would happen if it wasn't Skoda Assist that came out?

Are you sure it isn't hidden somewhere?

Have you tried asking the dealer?

There is a towing eye in my 140 cr elegance - by the way it is a left hand thread.

Mike

Mine has the spare option and the tow eye lives at the bottom of the tool box

Hi you will find the towing eye under the compressor. You should have tweezers for removing the wheel nut covers and a thin metal hook use unknown and a star drive Allen key not found use for that ether all in the hole with the compressor. I have not got a spare wheel ether

The thin metal hook is to remove hubcaps - if you have steel wheels. The Torx screwdriver is to remove the rear lamps to replace bulbs.
