Well, I am almost at a point now where I have bits needed to start the engine rebuild on my car. Just waiting on the head, some injectors and the exhaust manifold.

Didn't get much done on saturday as my mate doing most of the work was away, but I had time to unwrap my package from Mocal

Sexy 235mm oil cooler (for the oil this time, not the diesel)

Thermostatic sandwich plate which opens up at 80 degrees to pipe more oil through the cooler.

I will update this thread as more work takes place.

Once I get this "blogging" thing in my head (I still don't know how..... :| ) I will move this into there, but until that point please respect the fact I have no idea how to do it, and therefore calling me "non-decent moderator" whilst I don't know how to "blog" (I still don't really get it.....) is not on!

Haven't won the lottery but earning better money now, and i want the best the engine can get! Manifold is coming from a specialist in the Netherlands and is a "one-off" but based on a prior known pattern and a tested (and proven ) design.

OK - I am now up to speed with how this blogging malarky works, so to appease the masses.... I am starting one now and closing this!
