Come Saturday..

Just put a deposit on the black '06 TFSI vRS estate from Allam's in Epsom - would have preferred one with a few less miles (65k) and with 18's, but seeing as estates seem to be as rare as rocking horse poo at the moment and I needed one with some urgency I've taken the plunge, and am looking forward to it!

Now.. anyone got a set of 18" Zeniths they want to get rid of? ;)

Keep up mate - they're sold - you've just posted how much you hate the new black ones :giggle:

Nice enjoy it. IIRC there is another set for sale. Check the for sale section anyway.

See you on Saturday!

:yes: :thumbup::thumbup:

Maybe you should try it with the wheels it''s got (17s?) and see how you get on.

My 09 vRS came with 18s and the ride is on the firm side. I'd have been perfectly happy with 17s (come to that, if Skoda did the Elegance with the CR 170 engine I'd have had that).

As said, give the 17's a go. I have 18" and find the ride rather harsh for the estate :(

Ah-ha! Two volunteers for a swap for my 17s.. ;)

Believe it not, I'm actually after quite a harsh ride (within reason) as my wife suffers chronic travel-sickness and the smoother the ride, the worse she is! :S

IMHO, I think the 18s suit the car much better than 17s as well.. B)

I'm sure being run over by a train will feel more comfortable than driving around in that rock solid VX220!

Keep an eye out, I'm sure someone somewhere will buy a similar vRS with 18" alloys and wish to swap.
