picked up my octavia vrs 2.0 petrol yesterday and i love it .

bought it in a private sale at a bloody brilliant price

1 owner ,07, 18000 miles fsh etc and not a mark on it

the blue is beautiful and it feels like a grown up mans car

sold my renaultsport megane r26 f1 to buy this

the f1 was brilliant but it is a very focused car and deserves the track more than commuting , a very quick car in deed.

any thats enough for now i need to go for a drive lol

well i reckon we have a potential modder here.

ive driven the R26 and it was fookin ace (diabolical interior though),

dynamically the vRS doesnt cut it in comparsison, but a few choice mods and you wont be far off the pace handling wise. the vRS benefits massively from a set of anti roll bars, and a remap(circa 240hp/280Ibft).

I track mine alot and it is very competent. It'll never be as dynamic as the R26 unless you get coilovers and ther mods but as an allrounder its streets ahead.

i may go for the remap has my mate has bought al the software to load on/off the maps

you can buy a good map of celtic tuning i believe for £150

r26 is ace but rattles a lot and the plastics are awefull , nice seats though ,

dont know much about celtic tuning, but if you decide to upgrade to stage 2 or 2+ from your map do they offer upgrade package, like the bigger tuners do.
