VRS - Hesitation on Acceleration

Featured Replies

Hi

Bought a VRS 2 days ago after not having one for a year.

Anyway - in third or forth gear when coming on the throttle around 1600-1800 rpm there is a little jerk like movement from the car.

Just wondered if this was common when the turbo is spooling up?

I had one for 2 years before my last car and never felt this?

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Jon

Turbo lag? At those revs the turbo is still winding/spooling up. Some people do have hesitations from a dodgy maf sensor.

Please someone correct if i'm wrong.

If you have a newer car with the BLT engine read this

Definitely get the gasket in the link changed, it works a treat
