Gearbox/Clutch issue

Featured Replies

Past few months i`v had a problem from time to time with my fabia. When im sat with my foot on the clutch and in 1st, it feels like the clutch is ever so slightly being released and puling the car forwards. This means its hard to pull it out of gear. Once i do, then let the clutch out and re-engage 1st, its ok again. As i say, it only happens from time to time, but is getting rather annoying now, apart from this it drives fine, no slip etc. Should i be worried?

Thanks

Matt

Sounds like clutch drag. Could be clutch slave cylinder/release bearing. or needs bleeding. Clutch bite point should be high, if it's not suspect air in the system or faulty release bearing.

clutch master cylinder allowing the fluid under pressure to be released back

Yeah bites right at the top. Best go look for some prices!

Thanks
